This half day course deals with the most important legislation covering Redundancy and Termination Payments. It outlines the main provisions of the Redundancy Payment Acts 1967-2007 and explains how these principles are applied. It also covers the PAYE/PRSI, Health Levy and Income Levy treatment of termination payments. The course is delivered in a down to earth practical manner and it highlights the most common problems which employers have to contend with and offers practical solutions. It also highlights PRSI problems which often lead to overpayments by employers which most payroll software does not adequately deal with. The course includes a question and answer session and a comprehensive course manual is provided which will prove to be of immense value as a future reference document. This half day course will answer many of your unanswered questions.
